Painting is an action, conversation, being in the moment, stories untold, chronicles of another age, disasters, hunches and secrets. As a painter, I paint layers that shift between chaos and order. Now I want to see what’s underneath, see through the layers. I’m looking for complexity, confusion, a piece of art that intrigues and challenges me and leads to a place of resolution.
